Today I made about $100 cleaning up my grandparent’s house.
I am very grateful for making the money, but my Grammy’s bathroom, is
DISGUSTING. She had powder all over the floors, and not just any powder, oh no,
powder to make her legs whiter. You heard me! POWDER TO MAKE HER LEGS WHITER.
You have no idea how scared I am now…. I saw things I should never have seen.
And just blah, I really didn’t like it, but my step-grandpa (long story) is
really cool. His name is Tom. He is the whole reason we went over there. My
brother, DJ, and his friend, Shane, helped him move some boxes in their attic.
I cleaned their two bathrooms, their kitchen, and their van. On the floor of
the van there was food stuck. I felt like I was going to puke! But it was all
worth it, I guess, I have all my money saved for Lakeside now. In case you’re
wondering, Lakeside is a summer camp I go to. Last time I went I had my parents
pay for me, but this time I want to be responsible and pay for myself. I do
dishes for $5 a week, now, I have $185 saved for it, I only had $85, so that
$100 made a BIG difference, I only need $15 more, which means only 3 more weeks
:D But I’m going to the movies tomorrow,
to see Ironman 3 :D I’m going with my youth group and I’m going to use $20 out
of the $100 for that, the actual camp
only costs $150 but I wanted $50 for the T-shirts, the snacks, and all that
type of stuff.
